We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team to cover our busy evenings and Saturdays. As a Massage Therapist , you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in massage therapy techniques to address clients’ specific needs and promote overall wellness. Whether providing relaxation massages, therapeutic treatments, or specialised modalities, you will play a vital role in helping our clients unwind, relieve tension, and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various massage therapy techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, to meet clients’ individual needs and preferences.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ medical histories, physical conditions, and wellness goals to customise massage treatments and ensure their safety and efficacy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients throughout their massage sessions.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy, as well as self-care practices and techniques to maintain their well-being between sessions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up recommendations.
• Uphold professional ethics and standards of practice, including maintaining client confidentiality and respecting boundaries at all times.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognised massage therapy program from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and provide compassionate care.
• Empathy, sensitivity, and a client-centered approach to massage therapy.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining professional competence and staying current with industry standards and best practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate clients’ schedules.
