Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone therapy is a specialist treatment that uses smooth, flat, heated basalt stones which are warmed until they are between 60 and 70 degrees.
Your therapist will then place the warm stones on key acupressure points on your body. The stones warm and relax your muscles, allowing deeper pressure to be applied. Using oil and a combination of strokes and techniques, your therapist will massage your neck, back, arms, legs, and face with and without the stones.

Cupping Massage
This technique creates local suction on the skin using plastic cups. Hand cups can be used on any region of the body. Cupping increases blood circulation and is effective to release tight muscles, fascia and reduce high tone. Please be aware cupping can leave some redness and bruising on the skin.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs. It is a practice in which the therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing increase in blood flow to affected area. Enhanced blood flow under the cups draws impurities and toxins away from the nearby tissues and organs towards the surface for elimination. This can help relieve pain and muscular tightness. Please be aware cupping can leave some bruising and red marks on the skin.
Sports Massage
Sports massage can be used to relieve muscular tension, mobilise soft tissues, treat muscular damage, break down adhesions and reduce pain. It can also help along training programmes and before and after exercise. Sports massage helps to maximize performance, improve recovery and prevent injuries from occurring. This type of massage is not just for a sports person. Anyone can benefit from a sports massage. If you work long hours at a desk and feel tension or tightness this could help loosen you up. Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in your arms and legs. Lymphedema happens when your tissues retain fluid left behind after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your tissues and organs.
The remaining fluid is called lymph. Normally, your lymphatic system collects your lymph and returns it to your heart via a network of lymph vessels and lymph nodes. When something disrupts your lymphatic system’s process, lymph collects in your arms and legs, making them swell.
Our massage therapist uses lymphatic drainage massage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.
Pregnancy Massage
Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. Prenatal sessions are tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly. You will likely have your massage in a side lying position although some areas are safe to have massaged in other positions. All this can be discussed with your therapist prior to your massage.
Pregnancy massage is only suitable when past the 12th week of Pregnancy.
